Summary:

Supports the accounting team through accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and validates job/work order tickets for accuracy (pricing, product, customer, and sales tax information)

  • Processes invoices using Company financial systems to account for revenue from product sales and services

  • Distributes invoices and statements to customers for payment

  • Processes billing corrections and credits

  • Assists credit administrator with customer relations and collections

  • Reconciles revenues and expenses with P&L for assigned areas

  • Assists with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial report processing

  • Reconciles balance sheet for assigned accounts in areas of responsibility

  • Performs monthly company credit card audits

  • Assists with budgeting processes, including data entry and upload

  • Prepares assigned reports, presentations, analysis, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned to support accounting functions

Qualifications, Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 1 year of accounting experience preferred; construction-related experience a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of accounting systems and software, including JDE and similar a plus

  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving history

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Most work performed in an office environment; quiet to moderate noise level

  • Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 35 pounds

  • Regularly required to use hands to manipulate objects

  • Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear)

  • Sitting for long periods (up to 8 hours or more) at a desk using a computer; with intermittent breaks

  • Occasionally required to stand and walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; visiting work sites may require walking over uneven terrain and some exposure to dust, chemicals and loud noise

  • Some travel with overnight stays away from home may be required

Summary: Operates a variety of heavy equipment, vehicles, and tooling utilized in construction and/or plant production activities. Highly qualified candidates will have experience operating multiple pieces of equipment in related field. All candidates will be required to assist with other tasks. This would be a great opportunity to cross train on multiple types of equipment. All prospective candidates should enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather, be open to working in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability provide excellent service to internal and external customers. All prospective candidates should have the ability to travel extensively with overnight stays away from home for extended periods of time.
