This Signals Analyst (SA) will support the software baseline development for military intelligence systems. The SA will assist national-level agencies and Materials Developers assess, evaluate, and test SIGINT software applications prior to Government approval and release to the Using Commands. The SA will with the TROJAN Management Office to ensure Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)/ Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), Software Verification and Operational Testing (SVOT) and document results in the COP.
Test the log-in capabilities of User accounts on the TROJAN Enterprise Networks (TENS)
Test the operations of applications software on the proposed software baselines
Follow written and common test procedures for developed software baselines
Document test procedures and results based on key performance parameters and approved metrics
Identify and document potential impacts of proposed software applications
Validates technical documentation for User-level operations and maintenance task
Perform, evaluate, monitor, and identify system operations functionality; identify systemic functional design deficiencies as well as minor system operational faults.
Serve as a technical advisor to the Test Director for both hardware and software and make recommendations for corrective actions which can include engineering design proposals, hardware and software configuration changes.
Assess on-site operational capabilities, design efforts, hardware and software configuration based on best practice procedures for all newly fielded and upgraded TROJAN NEXGEN systems.
Supports customer systems on site whenever and wherever deployed. Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Possess specialized experience in system design and operations of intelligence-related research, and analysis.
Intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations support directly related to this position.
Demonstrate knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; use of SIGINT tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps
Experience & Education
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Five years experience as a Signals Analyst or formal military training in a related field, 35N MOS preferred.
TS/SCI with Poly required.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50lbs.
