Position Overview

Anchor Sign is currently looking to add full-time Sign Installers to the Anchor logistics team in Texas . This position will play a key role in the Anchor Sign production and customer maintenance process. The right person must be willing to travel

Requirements

Potential Candidates

The ideal candidate must have 3 to 5 years of experience installing and/or servicing internally illuminated channel letters, building and pole signage. Must be mechanically inclined, take pride in their work, enjoy travel and have an attention to detail.

Specifically:

  • Candidates must be willing to travel extensively within their assigned territory(NY,PA, MA,CT) and to install finished products as well as perform necessary maintenance for client project sites.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple installation and maintenance projects for many of the top brands in the retail, restaurant, hospitality and financial service markets.
  • Attention to detail to ensure Anchors stringent production quality standards are maintained.
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication, and team building skills.
  • Must have a valid CDL Class B or above w/air brake endorsement.
  • Must have state of Texas Master or Journeyman electrical license
  • Must be able to Pass DOT Physical, clean motor vehicle record and drug screen are required.

You will help with organization, inventory, maintenance reports, managing events, purchases of food and equipment that may be needed to run the department, and meeting and assisting clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensures that all events are set up correctly based on set up sheets. * Assigns all job duties to service staff including breakdown and set-up. * Designs sequence of service based on type of meal. * In the Directors' absence coordinates, controls, and organizes staff and maintains standards of service. * Monitors and maintains all banquet areas to be clean and hazard free at all times. * Controls payroll and maintains all necessary records. * Maintains constant interaction with all clients to ensure satisfaction. * Coordinates services required by Stewarding Department, Convention Services and Kitchen. * Maintains highest levels of quality performance by waiters at all time, consistent reinforcement and training to guarantee success. * Maintains presence on floor to ensure that functions flow smoothly and without incident. * Ensures all Banquet Checks are signed and posted timely and accurately. * Ensure pre-meals briefings are carried out for all events with team members. * Acts as the client liaison with all the operational departments. * Sees that guest' satisfaction is achieved through effective supervision and delegation of responsibilities, checks on food quality and courteous performance of entire banquet staff. * Ensure meal periods of events are set up on time and to predetermined standards. * Equipment Maintenance and proper Sanitation must be practiced. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Experience as a banquet/catering captain or similar role. * Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. * Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet. * Associate's degree in Hospitality is preferred.
