Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a SIGINT Instructor/ Training Specialist to support our customer.HII's Training Team is growing at a major DoD Joint Agency Supporting CWMD's and CIED's globally. We have an immediate opportunity for a SIGINT Instructor / Training Specialist to teach in the Northern Virginia Area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a SIGINT'er who has tactical and operational experience and the unique ability to write and edit coursework. The qualified candidate will be creative, resourceful, and enjoy coaching all levels of military personnel or contractors.
Our SIGINT Instructor / Training Specialist will provide training and course instruction to consumers of Signals Intelligence that reflects current and relevant improvised threat curricula. The individual will maintain training, change/edit or enhance curriculum for JIDO personnel; Combatant Commands and their conventional and special operations forces; NATO and Coalition forces; Interagency partners; and Other Government agencies as requested.
The Instructor / Training Specialist will also ensure that all materials, educational processes and curricula delivery are in compliance with National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation requirements and Defense Intelligence Education and Training Board (DITEB) requirements. Experience as a SIGINT analyst is required, particularly experience providing SIGINT analysis in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) or Air Force Distributed Ground System (DGS). The focus will be teaching SIGINT to consumers of SIGINT with a focus on telecommunications, DNI and DNR.
- Demonstrated experience working with military tactical, operational, and strategic level units providing SIGINT analytic support to include: analysis, reporting and writing intelligence products. Three (3+) years as a formal instructor in topics related to the intelligence field or improvised threats Completion of a military service SIGINT analyst Course.
Strong working knowledge of SIGINT exploitation processes, policies and production cycles. Familiarity with, and able to apply instructional system design (ISD) training development guidance such as TRADOC Regulation (TR) 350-70 or Air Force Manuals 36-2234 or 36-2236. Advanced knowledge of SIGINT collection equipment, SIGINT analysis and SIGINT collection management.
Formal instructor training/certification and experience teaching in the intelligence field or on topics involving improvised threats. Working knowledge of development of learning objectives; methodologies of lecture, demonstration and practical exercise; adult learning theory and use of training aid Indepth knowledge of Tasking Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong, detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills.
Due to the nature of OCONUS travel, a Current U.S. passport is required Ability to deploy or TDY for short periods of time worldwide. Expertise in using web browsers and browsing, search engines, and advanced search queries
Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of related tactical and strategic SIGINT experience with significant demonstrated experience in DNR and digital network Experience teaching SIGINT to consumers of SIGINT; familiarity with Voltron is a plus Professional experience as SIGINT analyst, particularly with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or Air Force DGS. Experience using analytic software such as Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or JIDO's (JIDA/JIEDDO) Attack the Network (AtN) Tools Suite (ANTS). 5-8 Years with Bachelors or 3-6 Years with Masters or 0-3 Years with PhD or JD or HS diploma + 9-12 years of relevant experience. This experience is additional to subsequent relevant years of experience listed with the job's education requirements. Clearance Requirements:
