Job Summary
The Patient Transportation Driver enables UK HealthCare EmPATH to help meet the needs of a diverse behavioral health patient population by providing transportation for patients to various locations throughout the state of KY.
This position will transport individual patients between UK HealthCare facilities to ensure optimal care delivery, and to follow-up treatment facilities, appointments, home, or other residential facility or shelter upon discharge from EmPATH. You will maintain records of mileage and time of trips, maintain general upkeep of vehicles, monitor patients while transporting, assist patients with ADLs when needed, and participate in Performance Improvement functions.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Basic computer skills, excellent customer service skills.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
At least 5 years of driving experience with a positive driving record highly preferred.
