General Purpose of Job:

This senior position serves as a Windows Server architect. Specifically tasked with designing, implementing and supporting all major applications or solutions with any component running on the Windows operating platform. This associate will also serve as a lead worker by developing operational procedures, technical standards and by performing periodic audits on the Windows environments to ensure optimum uptime and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties:

• All duties as described in the associate, intermediate, and senior Windows Server Administrator roles.

• Document and enforce ridged technical standards and cross-train members of the Advanced Computing Services Team to ensure long term sustainability.

• Demonstrate expert level experience in the following technologies: Microsoft operating systems, Terminal Services, Windows Server and Active Directory

• Work closely with the desktop and server team to develop consistent server and desktop builds.

• Participates in design and test a comprehensive disaster recovery processes

• Work closely with the clinical application team and vendor technical teams to develop a consistent application publishing processes whenever possible.

• Follow the ISTM (ITIL) methodology to manage problems

• Coordinate service/support needs with vendors, technical support engineers, application support engineers, and the infrastructure team communicating issues and resolutions.

• Lead and architect solutions to bridge domains, servers, users accounts, and other technologies in consolidation efforts within Sparrow and Sparrow affiliates.

Job Requirements

General Requirements One or more of the following certifications: MCSE, MCSA.

Certifications in EMR or other healthcare technologies. Certifications in Server virtualizations or networking. Certifications in Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft, preferred Work Experience Minimum 3 Years administering enterprise Windows server environments at a senior level.

Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Demonstrate expert level experience in the following technologies: Terminal Services, Advanced Windows Server administration and configuration (2008 and 2012) and Active Directory. Expert experience with Windows 7, Lync, SCOM, SCCM, Exchange, 2012 MS Server, MS-SQL, .NET, preferred Experience in ITIL, preferred
