Showroom Managerial Assistant

This specific position would be working for a luxury footwear & accessories line based in New York City. Our office is looking to add a showroom managerial assistant to our team, who can begin working immediately. The salary will start off at $30,000 but there will be opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

● Serve as initial touch point for all incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.

• Manage returns, terms and discounts.
• Manage shipping logistics.
• Maintain ownership of sample tracking systems.
• Management of multiple event management databases.
• Manage and improve the end-to-end structural and operational business processes that drive the customer service function..
• Prepare project budgets and track accordingly.
• Define, source and manage resources needed for assigned projects.
• Ability to discuss & recommend emerging digital trends .
• Oversee the day-to-day management of ERP interactions and eCommerce site.
• Ensure that all online orders are processed smoothly.
• Report on sales numbers and recap product mix positions on a weekly basis.
• Collate all information and update monthly Management reports.

● The candidate will have the proven ability to understand our business from ground up, be an agent of change within the business, promoting best practice delivery and have a genuine passion and understanding of luxury designer fashion.

Requirements

Requirements:

● Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree.

● Strong background in operations management with a focus on e-commerce (3+ years) .

● Excellent communication, project management, organization and multi-tasking skills

● Ability to handle a fast paced environment with a positive attitude.

● Computer skills including, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs and Dropbox.

● Social Media experience is preferred.

● Strong leadership, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

● A positive, outgoing, high energy personality that is entrepreneurial.

● A multi-tasker, proactively seeks out opportunities to support the team with a roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do and follow-through attitude.

● Familiarity with UPS, FedEX, DHL and all international shipping logistics including harmonized tax codes.
