Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Manager.


As Showroom Manager, you will:

  • Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, and high end fixtures

  • Develop and maintain marketing plan for the showroom

  • Maintain and develop a productive team by hiring, training and providing professional development

  • Work with Outside Sales associates to secure and maintain showroom and builder business

  • Budget process activities, review and manage expenses

  • Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while handling complaints timely and accurately

  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, address and resolve customer complaints


  • A minimum of 7 years Prior Plumbing Retail Sales and Management experience. Prior showroom experience is highly preferred.

  • A Bachelor's Degree is recommended

  • Ability to work across department lines, manage time and people

  • Enable to initiate and embrace change, coaching skills and desire to train others

  • The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

  • Understand the basics of design and interior decorating

VIEW JOBS 7/26/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-24T00:00 THE ROLE: Working under the direction of the Showroom Manager, the Assistant Showroom Manager takes a lead role within the showroom, on the sales floor and in the local community. In addition to being a strong salesperson, the Assistant Showroom Manager works alongside the Showroom Manager to develop their ability to run a strong business, lead and motivate a team of dynamic sales specialists and run an operationally sound showroom. RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: * Develop business acumen and the ability to identify business trends * Develop skillset on how to capitalize on and/or change course on business trends * Work on projects/initiatives as assigned by Showroom Manager- including but not limited to: business development, training and recruiting * Focus on achieving and exceeding individual sales goals * Work in conjunction with Showroom Manager to ensure all corporate directed processes regarding store operations are adhered to * Models how to maximize sales through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and merchandise presentation * Proactively utilize Salesforce to record and maintain client information/ preferences to drive business * Phone and email outreach to both established and developing clients to communicate updates, events, and follow-up EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: * Solid history of meeting and exceeding sales goals * Familiarity with the local market; able to identify and act on key networking opportunities * Experience sourcing, training and retaining sales talent * Desire to develop strong operational skills a must * Enthusiastic, energetic and personable professional demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ambitious, hardworking and team-oriented * An appreciation of fitness and a healthy lifestyle * High school graduate or equivalent * Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays * Proficiency with MS applications (Word, Excel, etc) and Salesforce a plus ABOUT PELOTON: Founded in 2012, Peloton is a global interactive fitness platform that brings the energy and benefits of studio-style workouts to the convenience and comfort of home.
