Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Customer Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Enthusiastically greet all customers entering the showroom
Answer incoming showroom calls
Effectively communicate appointment policy
Prepare literature packages
Manage customer sign-ins, central appointment book and customer job folders
Maintain bid follow-up system
Address "Thank You" cards for whole house selections

Qualifications

High school degree required
Experience in sales and customer service

To procure sufficient freight from customers with pricing meeting company guidelines, and moving within defined lanes. Sufficient freight to be defined as keeping the Company's equipment pre-booked and generating best in class utilization as measured by the Company's budget goals. Essential Responsibilities: * Daily conversations with established customers, in order to book sufficient freight, meeting the requirements of the company's operations. * Develop new customers shipping goods from within the assigned geographic region, which would also meet the company's requirement. * Complete weekly customer score cards showcasing our on-time performance, loads covered, and any issues we may have had. * Complete corrective action plans for service failures and provide feedback to the customer. * Work closely with providers to insure efficient and effective execution of defined processes and goods transportation. * Manage freight within the company's proprietary dispatch system as well as TMW software systems, for recordkeeping, analyses and evaluation purposes. * Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations. * Monitor benchmarks and identify trends and problems. * Prioritize and assign loads by customer needs and geography. * Effectively communicate to internal and external customers, and management. * Communicate fulfillment status and/or issues within the Organization to points including demand/supply planning, logistics management, sales, and customer service. * Create work orders through our operating systems. * Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency. * Maintain documents and records and scan and store electronic records thru our operating systems. * Assist and support the Director of Operations as needed. * Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
