Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Principal of the Academy, assist in the direction, coordination and facilitation of the activities of the students as it pertains to creating and maintaining a military and character training environment; assists in individualized instruction program designed by the teacher, assist in testing, scoring tests and the evaluation of instruction and student's progress and problems; assure student compliance with the academy and County attendance and discipline policies and regulations.

Must be ESSA/NCLB compliant by: Hold an AA Degree or completion of two years of study (minimum of 48 units) at an institution of higher education or pass the ESSA/NCLB Exam and attach certificate or transcripts to your application. Valid California Driver's license. The following documents are NOT required at the time of application but WILL BE required of the selected applicant prior to employment:
Valid CA Driver's License, Be insurable and maintain insurability * CPR and First Aid
Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance
Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance
Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance
Must be at least 18 years of age. SPECIAL NOTE: *ESSA/NCLB compliance by holding an AA Degree or completion of 2 years study (minimum of 48 units) at an institution of higher education or pass a local academic assessment demonstrating knowledge of and ability to assist in instructional reading, writing and mathematics (ESSA/NCLB exam certificate from Stanislaus County, AA Degree, BA Degree or CBEST).

A minimum of two (2) years active duty experience within the Armed Forces of the United States with an honorable discharge is desirable. Military style dress may be required. APPLICATION PROCEDURES - IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL APPLICANTS:
