In this role, you have the opportunity to

be responsible for all aspects of Shopper Marketing, namely the creation and execution of a 12 month rolling omni-channel activation plan built around retailer-, shopper- and category-insights in consultation with key stakeholders.

The Shopper Marketing Manager acts as leading business partner, focusing on planning and shaping in-store activation (both off and online), leveraging brand visibility and improving our shopper experience and business results via winning at the point and moment of purchase.

You will be responsible for end to end project management of activation plans, budget management (including ROI analysis) and collaboration with sales and marketing, to translate retailer and shopper insights into business results. You will report directly to Shopper Marketing Director, who is part of the Nordic Leadership team.

You are responsible for

  • Planning and development of shopper marketing strategy and objectives, identifying opportunities based on translation of retailer, shopper and category insights in consultation with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Own investment strategy and budget including monthly/quarterly reconciliation

  • Leveraging key retailer assets, omni-channel capabilities and identifying future opportunities for shopper engagement and path to purchase

  • Clear discipline of measuring and monitoring key performance indicators and return of investment

  • Have a key role in cross-functional collaboration to drive holistic approach to all planning, strategy and development

  • Drive shopper improvement projects that can deliver financial and strategic benefits to the retailer and the business

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with strong understanding of retail environment (off and online)

  • Clear and holistic communicator

  • Influential and persuasive

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize and work to deadlines

  • Able to identify and create a compelling story from data and insights

  • Planning, budget management and project management skills are essential

  • Commercial skills in bringing brand plans to life in retail environment

  • Fluent in local language and English
