SHOP MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $18.04 per hour
This is an at-will position. Hours are limited and will vary based on the operational needs of the department. Employees in this position are not full-time and will be classified as part-time employees.
This is a part-time job opportunity. An employee in this position can work up to 29 hours per week year-round. Work hours, however, will be solely determined based on workload and availability.

JOB DESCRIPTION
COORDINATOR-SHOP MAINTENANCE
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position is responsible for inventory management, shop area maintenance, working with vendors, handling parts, transporting and cleaning township vehicles and tires. Responsible for supervisor of court worker detail, as required by Court. The Coordinator works under the general direction of the Fleet Supervisor.
EXAMPLES OF WORK: (Note: These examples are intended merely as illustrations of the various types of work performed)
Maintains a productive inventory, including but not limited to, placing orders, tracking shipments, and verifying product deliveries using the Cityworks Asset Management Software as appropriate.
Provides data entry work orders into the Cityworks Asset Management Software.
Creates reports as required using the Cityworks Asset Management Software as appropriate.
Cleans and maintains the shop area.
Transports vendor parts and Township vehicles as assigned.
Handles the repair, maintenance and balancing of vehicle tires.
Performs light maintenance of vehicles (i.e. oil changes).
Organizes, assigns, and monitors work performed by court workers as determined by the program mandated by the Court.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum of 18 years of age
High school graduate or GED required
Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
Some knowledge of hand and power tools and the ability to use those tools properly and safely.
Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to effectively communicate with the public, vendors and Township employees.
Ability to deal with the public in a tactful and courteous manner.
Must have experience working with a computer.
Ability to follow directives accurately and thoroughly and work without close supervision.
A reliable self-starter in discharging responsibilities.
Must possess a current, valid Driver's License with a driving history that does not create liability concerns; which includes, but is not limited to, convictions of reckless driving, careless driving, suspended license, or convictions involving drinking and impaired driving
This is an "At-Will" position: Work assignments and hours are scheduled based on availability, division requirements and within the confines of the budget.
