POSITION: Shop Controller

WORKSITE: 2412 W. Durango Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85009, United States

JOB DUTIES: As one of three Shop Controllers performing accounting functions, with responsibility for accounting for approximately one quarter of company turnover, support Business Partners by delivering complete and accurate financial information for the purposes of business management and decision-making.

Prepare the budget and forecast in conjunction with Business Partners. Monitor and report capital expenditures. Support Business Partners in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Enforce internal controls that adhere to corporate policies and guidelines as well as local news. Ensure accurate postings of costs into WIP. Investigate inventory deviations for raw materials, WIP, and finished products.

Support internal and external audits. Ensure ICS enforcement within the operational business. Assist and support the legal entity Controller with entity-level reporting requirements and ad hoc queries, adapting and implementing procedures for the controlling function, and promoting the sharing of best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a concentration in accounting.

ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: Five (5) years of experience as Financial Analyst, Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, or Controller.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The required five (5) years of experience as Financial Analyst, Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, or Controller must have included the use of SAP and experience in accounting for a manufacturer.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 50% domestic travel required.
