Shipping/Receiving Clerk/Warehouse

Volt is immediately hiring for a Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving in Hayward, CA.

As a Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving, you will:

• Pull and stage outbound orders using an iPad to scan QR codes and print BOLs.

• Loads and unloads inbound and outbound trucks.

• Receives materials into the system and generates GRN labels.

• Operate material handling equipment (forklift) to move materials from one part of the plant to another.

• Steel band and/or power stretch-wrap pallets as specified per customer's specifications.

• Responsible for maintaining a safe clean work environment for OSHA and 5-S compliance.

• Rotation of stock to ensure FIFO.

• Proper storage of non-compatible products in designated storage areas to comply with Fire Department regulations.

This is a Full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with pulling orders, staging, re-palletizing, etc.

• Forklift license a plus but not required for hire; will be certified on site.

• General clean-up duties; sweeping, squeegeeing floors, operation of floor scrubber, etc.

• Must be able to read, and comprehend written and verbal instructions.

• Some computer experience.

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $26.00 hr.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

• The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
