Shipping/Receiving Clerk PRN

Join our team! Laredo Medical Center's (LMC) Materials Management Team is now hiring a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk (UPS Clerk) to work in our patient care units at LMC's 326 bed acute care hospital.

The Hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas, just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio. Skype or other Virtual Interviewing Processes (VIP) is available for out-of-town applicants. Read a full position description below.

Provides direct support to assigned patient care units by ordering, receiving, stocking, charging, and distributing supplies and linen from supply storage areas to nurservers, supply stations, and other areas as needed. Receives and unpacks materials and supplies daily. Reports directly to the UPS Supervisor and indirectly to the Inventory Supervisor and Director of Materials Management.

Job Requirements below:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent. Vocation/Technical or business education preferred.

Experience:

Six months relevant experience preferred. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Typing and general computer familiarity to include data entry required. Must be highly motivated, a self-starter, and quality oriented.
