Shipping/Receiving Associate

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Worker to join a premier client. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate labeling, packaging, and shipment of products. You will work closely to maintain inventory and coordinate shipments both on and off campus. • Pay Rate : $17.00/hour

• Shift : 6 AM - 2:30 PM (flexible /- 1-1/2 hour) Roles and Responsibilities: - Read drawings and follow the correct Shipping Procedure to ensure proper labeling and packaging.

• Hand engrave, impact print, or use the Monode electric stencil system to identify units.

• Assemble cartons and package units efficiently.

• Prepare and ship packages via UPS/FedEx and other carriers using the latest technology.

• Coordinate shipments with drivers for deliveries outside the campus.

• Visually maintain inventory of shipping and receiving materials supplies and initiate replenishments as needed.

• Operate a lift truck and hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to the storage or work area.

• Obtain certification in operating a lift truck and handling Hazardous Materials if not already certified. Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid driver's license to operate the company van for inter-site transportation (once hired).

• Ability to become certified in operating a lift truck and handling Hazardous Materials (once hired).

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
