Shipping Supervisor

H2O Innovation is looking for a new Shipping Supervisor to join our team located in Champlin, MN. Our next colleague will hold a permanent & full-time position and will work in collaboration with the other international teams (United-States, Canada, Spain & Mexico). Your main role will be to efficiently manage the receiving and shipping operations, while continuously seeking ways to improve processes.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Directing and supervising the team of shipping and receiving clerks, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to handle their duties effectively;

• Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing goods;

• Coordinating with other departments such as purchasing, production, and customer service to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods;

• Implementing and enforcing proper shipping & receiving procedures;

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among shipping and receiving personnel;

• Maintaining accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels using electronic systems or paperwork as appropriate;

• Support other manufacturing and warehouse functions as required;;

• Carry out the packaging of shipments, boxing, banding and crating;

• Identifying areas for improvement in shipping and receiving processes.

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Related years of experience in this position is preferred;

• Forklift experience;

• Ability to read prints and use a tape measure to check dimensions;

• Good knowledge of Excel, Word and general computer skills;

• Good memory and capable of multi-tasking;

• Organizational skills and attention to details.
