Shipping & Recieving Clerk

Essential Functions:

Manage the shipping and receiving process of a warehouse. Schedule and coordinate deliveries and shipments, maintain stock levels of packaging materials. Create barcode labels, manage inventory levels of finished product working multiple hours per day on a computer.

Receiving and Processing Domestic & Export Deliveries:

• Create Move Orders from Shipper Documents or Buyers

• Execute Receiving Transactions and Audit Inbound Freight

• Modify Weights & Dimensions

• Communicate with Buyers and Suppliers

• Move Freight as Needed (Must be Certified to Drive Vehicle)

• Troubleshoot Inventory and Receipt Issues

• Wrap, Band, Dimension and Weigh Freight

• Audit Export Deliveries

Shipping:

• Review Shipments, Mark Freight with Carrier and Sign BOL

• Insure Urgent Deliveries Ship Daily.

• Move Freight as Needed (Must be Certified to Drive Vehicle)

• Identify and Troubleshoot Shipping Issues

• Communicate with Customer Service, Freight Carriers and Drivers.

• Create and Customize Packing Lists and Bills of Lading

• Audit Outbound Deliveries

• Effective communication, including speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction

• Ability to learn, understand and adhere to standard work

• Understands the importance of safety, quality, delivery and cost

• Quick troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• Interacts with internal and external stakeholders with limited supervision

• Great time management and attention to detail

• Uses various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts, and hand trucks in moving light to heavy weight material

• Must be capable of standing on concrete floors during a normal 8-10 hour schedule shift.

• Will be required to perform bending, lifting, and reaching to efficiently perform this job.

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Must have or had a Tow Motor Operator License

Shift: 1st ~ 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m along with some weekends as needed
