Duties & Responsibilities

Then you might be the person Universal Robots is looking for! A Shipping Coordinator is needed for our Americas headquarters in Ann Arbor Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack and ship robots in accordance with company requirements

Manage inventory levels of shipping materials and spare parts

Update inventory system with location of outbound and incoming robot loaner pool

Work from checklists, service requests and instructions for proper procedure of job duties

Review shipping bills and carrier forms for correct shipping information and charges

Key Duties / Deliverables:

Maintain 95 percent of shipments going out same day once entered in shipping portal

Ensure physical quantity is correct to packing slip quantity for orders

Maintain records and documentation on warranty work

Inspect incoming goods for damage prior to receiving them

Success Criteria:

Demonstrates ability and willingness to work towards common goals and support "One UR", including navigating safely in a rapidly changing environment/priority.

Exhibits a proactive, curious approach to tasks

Takes responsibility for and delivers optimal solutions for both internal and external customers

Maintains accurate and timely records

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

  • Service-minded, outgoing and used to working in a team

  • Previous experience operating a pallet-jack, manual picker

  • High attention to detail

  • Good communication skills

  • Quality-minded and understands the importance of procedures

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


  • High School diploma or equivalent


  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a shipping and receiving or warehouse environment

  • Previous experience with FedEx and UPS software, along with good computer skills

  • Experience demonstrating interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.

Must be:

  • Approachable and takes pride in providing a high standard of service and support to customers and partners

  • Enjoys interaction with customers

  • Self-starter who is resourceful and initiates work without specific instruction

  • Flexible and works professionally

  • Available to work between 10am - 7pm

SEAS is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as its Grant Writing, Management and Editing Coordinator. This individual is expected to serve as the go-to person for SEAS faculty and researchers seeking ways to write successful research grants, in part through coordination, collaboration, and leveraging of SEAS and UM resources. This individual is also expected to help faculty procure funding by assisting in the proposal planning and writing process.
