Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. The primary role of this position is to administer and transact in a timely and accurate manner all shipping and receiving documents and process flow. The Coordinator ensures all material and products are properly monitored and accounted for. A successful candidate is a detail oriented, customer service focused, problem solver with the ability to handle assignments efficiently and accurately with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with import and export duties

• Assist with receiving items

• Creating bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents for all shipments

• Creating and updating receiving reports through Excel and Oracle

• Load and unload trailers.

Desired Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent/ Associate degree or better preferred

• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

• Previous experience with 3PL organizations

• Previous exposure to logistics and transportation processes and practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle

• Knowledgeable of good safety practices and quality standards

Work Environment

• Must be able and comfortable to work in a heavy-industrial environment

• Must be able to walk to work locations 100% of the time

• Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel and reach below/above shoulders

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, see, hear, reach, bend, and stoop. When receiving parcel shipments may need to lift up to 60 lbs
