Northrop Grumman Aurora is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our Logisitics team. You will be supporting mission critical systems directly related to protecting our country. The ideal candidate is conscientious, highly organized, and committed to the mission.

Responsibilities include the following:

Manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties

Tracking, logging, verifying and reporting via SAP and Outlook

Support implementation of new transportation management system; become site subject matter expert

Follow shipping practices and procedures (eg DOT, HAZMAT), and transportation routing, schedules and requirements

Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment

(Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, and equipment

Verifies quantity, weight, conformance of materials, and damage to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents

Posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma and 2 years of work experience; or 2 years of advanced education and 0 years of work experience

Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and email systems

Must be a US citizen and able to achieve a Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior shipping / receiving experience
