Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for day shift at our manufacturing site in Mount Joy, PA.

Basic job duties:

  • Pick and pack deliveries for shipment to customers

  • Process deliveries for multiple carriers using UPS and FedEx systems

  • Complete government packaging and labeling as outlined in specifications

  • Safely operate order picker and other warehouse equipment

  • Other duties as assigned.

What your background should look like:

  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of similar experience

  • Computer skills - knowledge of computer systems used to process deliveries (SAP experience is preferred)

  • Lifting ability - able to lift 35 lbs.

  • Detail oriented - quickly and accurately distinguishes part numbers, batch numbers and quantities

  • Hours - willing and able to work flexible hours and overtime

  • Ability to read and write English

  • Ability to work in a team environment

Joy, PA facility. TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes. This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
