Shipping & Receiving Associate

The Shipping & Receiving Associate will be responsible for loading and unloading, checking product against packing lists, reporting inaccuracies or damage, placing product into locations accurately.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks such as dock stockers

• Unload products from trucks and place in chronological order

• Audit products and report any inaccuracies or damages to supervisor

• Re-label products accurately

• Place products onto specific trailers using radio frequency scanner

• Confirm orders and complete bills of lading

• Stack orders on pallets

• Communicate with truck lines regarding orders

• Position orders on the FedEx and LTL trucks

• Generate closing reports

• Contribute to team productivity goals

• Maintain a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications Include:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous warehouse experience

• Cherry picker, reach truck and stand-up forklift experience

• Forklift certification

• Reading, math, computer and telephone communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 70 lbs.

• Experience with radio frequency scanners preferred
