Your Key Responsibilities

  • Supports Intra Logistics processes by performing a limited range of defined basic logistics tasks.

  • Performs supportive tasks related to intra-logistics, under direct supervision.

  • Handles and moves material, parts, semi-products or components within intra-logistics.

  • Packs and loads materials under supervision.

  • Supports preparation of deliveries of products / tours for drivers.

Your Qualifications

  • Shipping, logistics, material handling experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of shipping procedures an asset.

  • Ability to complete physical activities including lifting boxes up to 70lbs.

  • Forklift or reach truck experience an asset.

You'll also:</p><ul><li><p>Load &amp; unload whole goods and pallets onto trailers/containers</p></li><li><p>Take delivery of LTL/Parcel shipments,</p></li><li><p>Verify all shipments against the packing list/invoice; determine the proper receipt method,</p></li><li><p>Process Goods Receipts in SAP; label all received material,</p></li><li><p>Prepares, uploads, and maintains all receiving documentation, as well as CTPAT trailer/container documentation,</p></li><li><p>Researches and responds to questions, requests, or problems regarding deliveries, load discrepancies, and related issues,</p></li><li><p>Analyzes overages and shortages in receiving and prepares OS&amp;D reports for purchasing team,</p></li><li><p>Prioritizes receipts based on critical material list and FIFO</p></li><li><p>Maintains proper flow of material from receiving docks and throughout the warehouse</p></li><li><p>Assists with work assignments and direction to forklift operators in the warehouse and receiving dock,</p></li><li><p>Maintains highest standards of 5S</p></li><li><p>Operate material handling equipment to include overheard cranes and power industrial trucks,</p></li><li><p>Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs.</p></li></ul><p>SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES REQUIRED</p><ul><li><p>Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those around him/her,</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 2 years' experience in a heavy-duty machining/manufacturing environment,</p></li><li><p>Proficiency and accuracy with data entry are essential,</p></li><li><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages,</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret policies/procedures/department guidelines/safety rules and regulations.
