Summary:

As a Shipping Administrator/Production Tech, you will ensure smooth handling of all shipping tasks as assist with the assembly of products. You will coordinate product shipments, maintain records, inventory control, and liaise with suppliers and carriers for timely delivery. You will assist in grease processing. You will also be able to assemble products within spec to meet commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and monitoring the shipment of products to ensure timely delivery

• Managing and maintaining accurate records of all shipping activities

• Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations

• Preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs clearance paperwork

• Resolving any issues related to shipments, such as delays or damages

General Tasks

• Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

• Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies

• Possess ample experience in order management, shipping, logistics, or a related field. Must have technical assembly experience in a production environment.

• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills.

• Have a good understanding of shipping processes as well as possess technical assembly experience in a production environment.

• Be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines

• Be proficient in using shipping software and other relevant tools as well as follow instructions. Must be able to use common hand tools and mechanical equipment. Forklift operation, a plus.
