Shipping Operator

Performs the tasks involved in put away, picking, packing, shipping of materials, parts, supplies, and/or equipment using the Spirax Sarco Inventory System.

• Put away finished goods into stocking locations. Ensuring kind and count accuracy, using Spirax Sarco Inventory System.

• Picks customer orders and packs the orders in a manner that ensures accuracy and protects the product from damage during shipment.

• Accurately process shipments using transportation company's software system and efficiently staging for outbound pickup.

• Ensures system transactions match the physical movements.

• Ability to read packing lists, pick lists, shop orders to determine order numbers, part numbers and applicable quantity.

• Demonstrates critical thinking to trouble-shoot variances.

• Accountable and responsible for all safety and environmental compliance as it relates to the position.

• Make ready the shipping area for next shift.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent

• 1 - 2 years' related experienced preferred

• Critical thinking

• Basic computer skills with ability to quickly learn industry specific software.

• Experience using Forklift; Forklift Certified preferred. Forklift Certification Required after hire.
