Job Description

Sika`s manufacturing plant in Aurora, Illinois is producing pigmented powders, tinted liquids, concrete stains, and textured stamps used in residential and commercial decorative concrete applications. The products are used in concrete sidewalks, patios, driveways, and flooring throughout North America.

What You'll Do:

• Pull finished product from inventory, assemble orders and prepare for shipment in accordance with company policy and customer requests.

• Select, pack, and wrap product to be shipped.

• Receive inbound material including finished product from other locations, raw materials, operating supplies and equipment and transfers to appropriate storage locations.

• Receive raw material for inventory, samples raw material for QC, and pulls raw material for production.

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and transport materials between departments and buildings.

• Count and examine raw materials, supplies, finished product, etc. to verify completeness against appropriate documents; checks for damaged materials; maintains records of shortages, damages and other exceptions.

• Match material against bills of lading, advises supervisor of discrepancies.

• Use bar Code Scanner to achieve inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.

• Experience driving a forklift required.

• Possess a strong work ethic displaying character, competence, and commitment.

• Proficiency in basic math.

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
