OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-Time Shipping Manager, you will manage and direct a large group of employees. You will ensure that all day-to-day operations in the Shipping department are completed safely, accurately, efficiently, and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Performing and understanding day-to-day responsibilities of the Shipping Department

o Providing superior service through accurate on time completion of duties

o Developing efficiencies while running a profitable business

o Communicating with other employees and branches

o Interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees within the department

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements

o At least one year of prior leadership experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Ability to organize, lead, motivate, and train a large group of employees

o Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills

o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Able to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs

o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY).

Check incoming materials against bills of lading, packing slips, etc., verifying nomenclature, identification and quantity of the materials. Maintaining records of goods received and damaged goods. * May be tasked with performing ancillary duties related to Production Expediting coordinating the movement of materials throughout the plant. * Job requires ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
