The Fulfillment and Shipping Specialist, working with the Manager of Operations, and other management staff members as necessary, under minimal supervision, is responsible for assisting in the overall daily work activities in the Fulfillment and Shipping departments. This includes responding to requests from brokers and sales consultants for electronic and/or printed materials to assist in the sale and presentation of employee enrollment materials. It also requires monitoring of current inventories of carrier collateral, maintaining inventory of shipping and supply materials, and processing outgoing and incoming shipments as needed.
Overview of Responsibilities
Print and/or email sales and marketing materials for Sales Executive's and brokers in CA, CO & TX.
Prepare agency onsite training materials for all departments as needed and Sales Executives for CA, CO & TX as requested
Correspond directly with Brokers and Warner Pacific Sales Executives via email and phone
Respond/Acknowledge emails and phone messages within 2-4 hours
Determine best method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates
Perform the daily activities of the Fulfillment Specialist and/or Shipping Coordinator
Verify and keep record of incoming and outgoing shipments
Prepare items for shipments using various vendors
Communicate directly with outside vendors such as FedEx, UPS, USPS drivers
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, routing them to the appropriate departments
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Make sure all copiers are stocked and full
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned from time to time by the Company or its designated representatives
Participate in and complete other Department projects as assigned in an efficient, cooperative and timely fashion
Provide back-up or assistance in other areas within the Department/Company as requested
Ensure the front and back kitchens are stocked, clean and properly arranged at all times
Maintain and order inventory for all kitchens and copiers

Additional Skills and Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with others.
Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Prior clerical experience, or any combination of education and/or experience, that would provide an equivalent background desired.
Ability to understand and demonstrate the use of computer system, computer programs and office equipment as necessary, including ability to type a minimum of 30-35 wpm and proficiency in the use of a 10 key.
Ability to work on site (in the office) a minimum of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, generally with shift start times between 8:00-8:30 a.m., as determined by management.
Results oriented
Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested by senior management.
Lifting may be required, up to 25 lbs.
Ability to sit for long periods of time, file, stand, bend, reach, pull
General planning, organizing and time management skills.
Compensation
Hourly Range*: $18.50 - $24.66 per hour
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level.
