SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Coordinates the shipping process and ensures that packages are prepared for shipment in a timely and accurate manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

  • Coordinates the shipping of Merit's products from the warehouse by:

  • Overseeing the Shipping Clerks and making sure that information is correct on picking and packing slips;

  • Verifies the accuracy of the Shipping Clerk's work on a random basis to ensure that packages are being shipped correctly;

  • Pulling, picking, and packing orders for shipment and verifying information to avoid incorrect shipments;

  • Weighing packages and placing shipping labels on packages which correspond with the customers shipment method request.

  • Coordinates the organization and cleaning of the warehouse, and verifies that product packages are in their correct location.

  • Pulls and packs international product orders and coordinates with international shipping companies to ensure the delivery of international orders.

  • Pulls and packs sample orders for the Marketing and Sales Departments.

  • Works on special projects for the Warehouse Manager as needed.

  • Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education equivalent to a High School diploma.

  • Work related experience equivalent to two years of previous warehouse experience, with three months of warehouse supervisory experience preferred.

  • Must be able to operate a forklift safely.

  • Ability to be neat and organized and pay extreme attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and work well with others.

  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

These activities align with management agreements, client requirements and Cushman & Wakefield's corporate mission and principles. The EOS Coordinator will provide comprehensive support to the client's regulatory compliance, activities, processes, documentation and reporting. Position will be responsible for executing the EOS program in owned, self-lease managed and multi-tenant facilities. Job Description Responsible to support a highly functioning team which leverages client managed technology platforms and data driven analytics for integrated facilities management (IFM) strategy, solutions, and delivery of services. This role will evolve all services and programs into a predictive rather than reactive model. Expectations are to deliver value through strategic thinking, thought leadership, innovation and operational excellence to further advance a program unique to the integrated facilities management industry. This role may be responsible for one or more of the following: * Support Account Manager in delivery of responsibilities related to client portfolio. * Work collaboratively with peer managers in Technical Services, GSC Infrastructure and Energy and Sustainability Management. * Execute the management strategy outlined by the client and defined by the Director of Technical Operations and C&W Center of Excellence Leads. * Provide leadership in the delivery and execution of approved compliance and safety initiatives. * Assures that the client and C&W personnel under management: * Are 100% compliant with OSHA, EPA and all other AHJ relating to EOS with all program elements (inspections, audits, reporting- no excursions) * Have no recordable safety incidents (related to projects, facilities & equipment under the Service Provider's duty of care) to the greatest extent possible, with the goal of zero incidents per year. * All staff are fully trained, and records are current (audit/inspection-ready) * Have access to protective equipment and all staff are trained in it is use (100% compliance) * Assist the client in the execution and governance of the following Environmental Regulatory Compliance Programs: * Boiler certification * Generator operating, spill plans, and fuel tank permits/inspections * Air emissions reporting and annual permit fee administration * Tier II operations * X-ray machine certification * On-line MSDS documentation * Assist the client in the execution and governance of the following Life Safety & Occupational Safety Programs: * Fire detection systems * Fire suppression systems * Private fire service mains (hydrants) * Fire extinguishers * Supporting fire drills/ shelter in place exercises (currently semi-annually per building) * Elevator inspection and permits * Arch flash and electrical system coordination * Indoor air quality testing (annually per building) * Legionella testing * Emergency exit light testing * Emergency battery pack and/or emergency UPS invertor testing * Fire doors and shutter operational testing * Lock out tag out * Confined space permit * Hot work permits * Assist the client in the execution, governance and auditing of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance program. * Assure regulatory compliance of key building infrastructure/distribution that supports the mission critical infrastructure from production data centers to building level MDF/IDF. * Maintain an on-site central repository showing evidence of execution of all regulatory compliance inspections/permits (requirement of Vanguard's internal audit department). * Administer the ergonomic assessment program.
