Become a part of the strength within. Hexcel is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator for our Windsor, CO, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Execute the shipping of products inclusive of material preparation through carrier scheduling and coordinating. Manage shipping activities through proper coordination with operations, sales/marketing, and quality Ship Hazardous Materials in compliance to DOT, IATA & IMDG regulations. Review Shipping Tables to ensure that all requirements are met.

Make shipping arrangements, contacting Freight Forwarders, carriers, etc. to schedule pick-ups and transportation. Executing and shipping of Epoxy Resins/Films, and Carbon Fiber Prepreg products inclusive of material preparation through carrier scheduling and coordinating

Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Associates Degree preferred 1+ years related experience and/or training Basic computer skills to include the functional use of Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable programs Understanding of an MRP system; Microsoft AX exposure is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers or employees.

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to speak to and coordinate distinctly to different work groups. Demonstrate self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrate attention to detail and good organization skills.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and come to a viable solution, including knowing when and how to escalate issues as necessary. Trained and certified to ship hazardous materials (preferred), both domestically and international; must be re-certified every two (2) years.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred Perform similar job-related duties as assigned. You must be able to pass a thorough background check as well as be drug free.
