Job Description: The Shipping Clerk – International is responsible for the processing of outbound parcel orders for international customers in a manner that meets customer and regulatory requirements and accurately reflects what is shown on the sales order picklist.
This position will use the shipping functionality of the Magpul ERP system. Essential Duties: Verify contents of picked orders match the sales order picklist.
Make necessary corrections when discrepancies exist. Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled with accuracy and attention to detail per customer requirements. Communicate with the Compliance team to make sure proper regulatory shipping documents are generated.
Securely pack and ship customer orders. Prepare packing slips. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Notify supervisor of any equipment repair or facility maintenance issues. Assist in year-end inventory. Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment (temperature changes, dust, equipment, etc.) Ability to sit, and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Work overtime as required by workload of department. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Must have High School Diploma or GED. 6 months of warehouse and/or fulfillment experience is preferred but not required. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be proficient in basic math and problem solving. Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); ability to learn new programs Additional:
