Shipping Clerk

Large fruit warehouse is looking for shipping clerk to join the team. A Shipping Clerk’s responsibilities include answering phones, checking in truck drivers and putting up new orders. They are also accountable for checking certifications and Phytos, communicating with sales people & dock drivers. .

Responsibilities

• answering phones
• checking sales orders
• checking in and out truck drivers
• putting up paperwork for export orders
• checking certifications & Phytos
• working with the loading dock drivers to make sure loads are ready
• being able to communicate with sales people about their orders if something is not right with the order (not enough boxes or too many boxes)
• checking export paperwork for errors
• making sure pallet ticket are scanned appropriately for the order

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role
• Ability to lift items and containers
• Flexibility to work different hours throughout the week as needed Most of the time it's 8am - 5pm
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• A high school qualification or equivalent is preferred
