Job Description:

CVS Health has an exciting opportunity to join our Specialty Mail Service Dispensing Pharmacy located in Flower Mound, TX. Seeking an enthusiastic individual with attention to detail and high quality standards who wants to join our Specialty Mail center and further their career with our new expansion as an Operations Assistant . They will partner closely with the Operations Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician to coordinate,assemble and package customer orders for shipment. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for stocking supplies, operating sorting equipment,replenishing work stations, among other tasks.With opportunity for growth, this is a great position to transition into if you enjoy being on your feet and working in a team-oriented environment.

Part TIme hours are Monday through Thursday ranging from 12pm-6pm.

Additional Responsibility for the Shipping Clerk:

  • To assist the pharmacists in the Quality Control area

  • Assemble and package customer orders for shipment

  • Prepare medication orders for shipment with the appropriate carrier

  • Work Independently and as a member of a team

Required Qualifications

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for length of shift

  • Ability to reach, twist, turn, bend, stop and walk.

  • Ability to operate a pallet jack.

Preferred Qualifications
6+ months experience with inventory and distribution processes

  • 6+ months of experience in a warehouse / shipping department or related experience

  • Ability to operate a Forklift, or PIT equipment

  • Attention to detail for verifying inclusion of all prescriptions and matching information from invoices to actual prescriptions

  • Ability to use 10-key pad on computer; and basic computer knowledge.

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required. * Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and driving record must be in compliance with Town policy. WORK EXPERIENCE: * Must have one (1) year of general office experience. Must submit to and pass a post-offer, non-regulated drug test and thorough background checks (including criminal history). The hours for this position are: Monday - Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Desired Qualifications KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES: * Must have a general working knowledge of computer operations (data entry) and general office procedures. * Must have excellent English communicative skills, both oral and written, to include spelling, grammar, and punctuation. * Bilingual communicative skills are preferred. * Must be skilled in the operation of personal computer operations to include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. * A net score of 40 words per minute typing is preferred. * Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written directives, work well under pressure and stress, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize and organize work assignments. * Must be able to maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor at all times. * Must have a strong customer service attitude.
