Position Summary: Perform duties associated with the Shipper/Packer to achieve performance goals. This position's primary function is to verify and package materials for shipment documenting all efforts in Navision.

Responsibility:

• Deliver completed parts and completed orders to area of next operation or designation. Be familiar with the part numbering system and part identification. Accumulate and package all items and products related to specific shipment requirements, to ensure accurate and damage free shipments

• Complete and provide accurate documentation for specific shipments

• Load shipments onto trucks, taking pictures and document

• Use steel tape measure, weighing and counting equipment, computers, and appropriate handling equipment

• Operate Forklift.

• Follow all safety rules and practices

• Keep area clean

• Know and follow all lockout/tagout procedures

• Support and follow company policies and procedures

Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Minimum of 3 years of forklift & reach truck experience

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screen.

• Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.

• Must have intermediate computer user knowledge.

• Shipping and Receiving experience required.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety.

• Must have mobility to move around the facilities

• Must be able to read and interpret Bill of Lading and/or packing slip.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a production environment

• Occasional exposure to industrial operations (temperatures, noise, moisture, moving machinery).
