Prime Machine is searching for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our expanding team based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Prime Machine, Inc. was created in 1979 to provide emergency Industrial Equipment Repair and New Component Fabrication Services to a wide range of Customers statewide and beyond. We currently provide Large and Small Machine Shop Services, Welding Fabrication, Millwright Field Services, Gearbox Repair, and State-of-the-Art Laser Inspection Services. Our major Customers are found in Mining, Power Generation, Aerospace & Defense, and other critical Industries.

What are a few of the duties of Shipping and Receiving Support at Prime Machine?

Shipping and Receiving:

• Support unloading and loading.

• Package and prepare products for shipping.

• Assists the Logistics Coordinator in the organization of received goods.

• Assist material control specialist in monitoring and tracking of material transfers between divisions, and buildings.

• Wipe down and clean parts to ensure they are presentable as a finished product to our customers.

• Mark incoming shipments with proper identifying information as outlined.

Driving:

• Conduct deliveries and pickups for in-state local runs as needed.

• Maintain the safety of the truck under your control, including proper weight limits, tie-downs, maintenance, and traffic laws.

• Perform a pre-trip inspection to ensure the truck is safe and suitable for the trip.

• Ensure you receive a signed packing list after each delivery.

• DOT stays current.

• Maintain all straps, trailer hitches, and other items needed.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• Must have a valid Driver's License

• Prior Forklift experience preferred.

• Previous shipping and receiving experience a huge plus.

• Strong computer skills
