Kruger Foods Inc. is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk works with suppliers and customers to schedule shipping and receiving appointments.  Checks commercial drivers in, prepares paperwork, and facilitates loading or unloading of trucks with warehouse.  Prepares Certificate of Analysis’ for products being shipped.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Checking in packages from UPS, FEDEX, etc.  Sorts packages for deliver by department or person.  Delivers packages to appropriate department or employee. 
  • Schedules appoints for shipping and receiving utilizing computer system. 
  • Checking in drivers upon arrival. 
  • Checking out driver.  Provides required documents for each driver. 
  • Places seal on trailers and documents seal number on bill of lading. 
  • Generate Certificate of Analysis for drivers.  If necessary, sends digital copy to customers as requested.
  • Assigns drivers to specific loading bay and takes paperwork to floor so shipping personnel can load the truck.
  • Takes photos of loaded trucks as required by customer.  Photos must be taken to customer specification. 
  • Generates purchase orders for packaging materials.  Places orders for packaging materials.  Once materials arrive, he receives the materials and files the paperwork.  Closes the purchase orders (PO) once documentation is complete.
  • Assist in counting of monthly physical inventory. 
  • Reconciles monthly inventory. 
  • Assists inputting inventory into the accounting system. 
  • Enters shipped product quantities into accounting system from the bill of lading.  Ensure that the information is correct and current.
  • Organizing work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
