Receiving: Receiving duties include, but are not limited to:

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials

• Work with sales and management on establishing efficient inspection methods (sampling, first article, etc.)

• Receive product into database

• Generate Bin Location labels and put away product

• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; scanning documents into quality database

• Support plant continuous improvement efforts

• Ensure instrument/gage calibration are current

• Daily Cycle Count for inventory management.

Shipping: Shipping duties include, but are not limited to:

• Major carrier shipping such as UPS, Federal Express, DHL, Delivery Services, etc.

• Scheduling shipments with carriers to ensure on-time delivery

• Communicating to sales team and providing tracking information when requested

• Maintaining shipping supplies

• Assist in loading and unloading merchandise when it arrive if assistance if needed

• Running "End of Day" reports from shipping stations.

• Assist in processing orders if time permits

Requirements:

• 1-2 years machine shop or 1-2 years working in a in quality position with dimensional/specification experience

• Forklift Certified and/or experience

• Must be able to read and understand documentation for shipping requirements including documentation requirements part drawings and use that ability in determining whether or not a part being inspected passes or fails

• Ability to use standard measurement devices (ID/OD Calipers, sizing charts and other reference materials)

• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel)

• Must have the ability to work in a demanding and fast paced production environment

• Must be able to adapt to change

Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
