Schedule: 7am - 4pm

Pay rate: $15 - 17/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

• Schedule pickups with carriers and freight companies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for precise inventory logging, shipment tracking, and manifest maintenance.

• Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies, promptly documenting any issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including assisting with loading and unloading shipments as needed.

• Collaborate with team members, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.

• Address shipping or inventory-related issues as they arise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will two years of logistics experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional communication skills, have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional logistics education or training being preferred. Prior experience in shipping and receiving, particularly in a warehouse or distribution environment, is highly valued.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel for inventory management and record-keeping is essential, along with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. The ability to prioritize tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration.

Candidates should also be capable of lifting and carrying packages of varying weights and should have familiarity with warehouse safety protocols. Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends is required, along with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset.
