OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The Shipping & Receiving Associate's key responsibility is to ensure accurate and timely distribution of all Sales and Marketing materials. The shipping & Receiving Associate will be responsible for overseeing various essential functions including receiving incoming shipments, verifying and recording inventory, generating reports, boxing and shipping finished goods, and maintaining accurate records of all inbound and outbound shipments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the shipment of all Sales & Marketing materials and supplies within the department

  • Responsible for ensuring all shipments are accurate, completed and submitted in an accurate and timely manner

  • Be the product expert in our team, available to answer all product related questions

  • Receive, Stock and Organize inbound shipments

  • Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, and inventory levels of those materials

  • Cross trained in all material receiving processes as well as Batch Initiation process to assist regularly as business dictates

  • Reports defective materials to supervisor

  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies

  • Train to, and comply with all appropriate QMS processes

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Organized and Detail Oriented

  • Self-starter who takes initiative

  • Team player attitude

  • Competency in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Lift up to 40 lbs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of a High School degree

  • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math

  • 2 years of small package shipping experience (FedEx or UPS)

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

This role shall comply, at a minimum, with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined in:

  • CLIA: Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Requirements, Title 42 Code of Federal Regulations Part 493
  • CAP: College of American Pathologists (CAP): All Common, General, Director Responsibility and Authority and all test-specific checklists
  • NYS CLEP: New York State Department of Health, Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP), New York State Public Health Law, Article 5 Title 5
  • ISO: International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485, Quality Management Systems, Requirements for Regulatory Purposes, 2016
  • All other applicable state and regulatory governing authorities including but not limited to: CA, PA, RI, MD
