Position and Responsibilities

As a member of the maintenance team, you will perform layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance and repairs of process piping/plumbing, structural steel and emergency response in a continuous processing facility. You will join a team composed of different trades supporting our 24/7 uranium production facility, training in emergency response (Emergency Response Team - ERT).

The starting hourly rate for this position is $44.36 along with competitive benefits and retirement savings. The final hourly rate increases to $49.41.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

• C of Q as a steamfitter or welder (Red Seal)

• Experienced in pipe fitting/welding

• Achieve Cameco's welding tickets

• Achieve NFPA 600 Firefighting Certification

• Achieve NFPA 472 Operations and Technicians Certification

• Physically capable of performing assigned duties

• Able to work continental shift

• Possesses required trade related hand tools

• Demonstrated work performance that is consistent with a team environment

• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision

• Strong commitment to health, safety and environment

• Clear background check

Assets:

• Valid TSSA 6G welding certification

• Backflow preventer certification

• Experience gained within a chemical plant
