Position: Shift Supervisors

Shift: 5:30 am

Responsibilities

Shift Supervisor's role: Braum's leaders execute the company's brand strategy and promote its vision, mission and values, resulting in a great customer experience and maximized sales. By recognizing the importance of our people, we can strengthen the team's contribution toward unit goals being achieved.

  • Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members.

  • Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality.

  • Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales.

  • Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed.

  • Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly.

Work Schedule: Work days vary based on a rotating 3 week schedule with an expected 45 hour work week.

Reports to: Assistant Manager

The hospitals provide state-of-the-art treatment that is recovery-oriented and science-based. Whether in a direct-care or support role, your contribution will make a difference in the life of a Texan.The Registered Nurse II (RN II) works 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the Adolescent Forensic Program. The RN Clinical Coordinator is clinically supervised by the Nurse Manager and administratively by the Program Director. He/she is responsible to provide activities that support the mission of the program and North Texas State Hospital. The RN Clinical Coordinator is a champion of the social learning program and is knowledgeable in the principles of psychiatric rehabilitation and the recovery oriented models of care. The RN Clinical Coordinator may serve in the capacity of Program Nurse Manager during their absence. Reviews the Nursing 24-Hour report and follows up accordingly. He/she participates in the identification of program specific training needs and develops curriculum to address those needs. The RN Clinical Coordinator participates in program development, maintenance, and clinical oversight. He/she conducts nursing audits to ensure on-going compliance and assures drills are completed as required. The RN Clinical Coordinator participates in the development of nursing specific, program policies and procedures. The RN Clinical Coordinator may be assigned to prepare monthly nursing schedules. He/she will participate in the hiring process and serve as a preceptor for newly hired RNs/LVNs. The Clinical Coordinator will provide clinical RN coverage, as assigned by the Nurse Manager. The Clinical Coordinator may serve as a member of the Program Quality Improvement Team (QIT). The Clinical Coordinator understand that duties, location of work, shift/pattern are subject to change as determined to meet the needs of the hospital. Performs routine nursing work. Work involves providing for the assessment, care and treatment of patients. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employee has access to limited set of records in accordance with HIPAA Regulation, access level of Health Care Operations PHI 2-B.Essential Job Functions: Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. 1. Assists the Nurse Manager as assigned, to assure compliance with departmental rules, nursing standards of practice, hospital policies and procedures and program requirements. Uses available data to prepare reports, and conducts clinical audits as a method to ensure Joint Commission readiness. 2. In the absence of the Nurse Manager assumes the responsibility of this position both administratively and clinically to ensure continuity of nursing operations, and promote program integrity. 3. Communicates significant events related to patient care and management of the unit to the Nurse Manager and Program Director. Staffing plans reflect the program is staffed according to the established nurse staffing plan. 4. Provides focused educational in-services to staff, and assists in the tracking of Agency and hospital required training. Helps to monitor compliance with required drills and ensures supplies are available to staff for the provision of care. 5. Performs clinical duties consistent with a RN I when assigned to provide clinical coverage for the program. Is available for prompt intervention, modeling, coaching, and guidance for both staff and patients to promote therapeutic communication and a healthy milieu. 6. Serves as a preceptor for newly hired RNs/LVNs to promote retention. Participates in recruitment initiatives, and in the hiring process to promote available human resources. Participates in new employee orientation. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency's obligations for disaster response and/or recover or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location. Knowledge Skills Abilities: 1. Knowledge of nursing techniques and procedures; of health care laws and regulations; of medical diagnoses and procedures; of accepted medical treatment programs; and of community health and nursing care principles, practices, and procedures. 2. Experience in the care and treatment of patients and in the operations of computers and applicable computer software. 3. Ability to provide patient care, to prepare and maintain records, to explain public health laws, and to communicate effectively.
