Summary:
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for assisting management in monitoring the day-to-day activities of subordinates, aiding in monitoring associate productivity, assigning responsibility for specified work and/or functional activities within the framework set by management, giving work directions, and monitoring scheduling for adequate shift coverage. This position also maintains knowledge of and monitors compliance with all corporate standards and, through leadership and example, encourages the highest level of sales and customer service performance by other associates.

This position also performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Store Manager or General Manager, depending on local requirements.Essential Functions:Monitors and observes the day-to-day activities of subordinates, coordinates breaks for hourly associates, and keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures Coordinates with management for on-the-job training of new associates

Operates cash register and voids transactions as needed while following all HMSHost cash handling policies and procedures, and maintains proper security of cash at all times

Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or use of a hand truck Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse and concepts, orders product and participates in physical inventory counts as required

Resolves customer complaints in a manner consistent with company policy, and with customer satisfaction in mind

Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices and complies with HACCP standards

Monitors compliance with safety guidelines, builds awareness about safety, and reports any safety concerns to management

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED)Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory/lead experience

Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers

Food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience preferred

Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions

Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs

Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions

IN-HOUSE MEDIA POSTING Position: IT Supervisor DUTIES: The IT Supervisor directs and defines the strategy for the integration and enhancement of the IT operations tools to provide end-to-end visibility into the availability and performance of the top-down IT stack (infrastructure, application, and business process). Specific duties include: (1) lead development/admin teams responsible for supporting and deploying Service Management products or services within an ITIL-based solution framework (i.e. ServiceNow, HP Service Manager); (2) performing administration/development specifically with ServiceNow in leading the delivery of global, 24/7 technical services; (3) enhance the IT operations tolls portfolio, inclusive of the Enterprise monitoring (HP OMI, HP NNMi, Sitescope, Slunk) and IT Service Management (ServiceNow) platforms and vendor specific solutions (Microsoft SCCM, VMWare, O365, etc.) to provide a single-pane-of-glass view into the operational health of the company's IT services; (4) implement an Enterprise Monitoring service to include a "Monitoring-as-a-Service" solution, inclusive of Application Performance Monitoring; (5) manage centralized license tracking and control, Integrations, ServiceNow Discovery, Group creation, security compliance, responding to incidents and break/fix for current IT service management configurations and customizations (forms/workflows etc.); (6) manage software development lifecycle platforms and tools, utilizing an Agile methodology (Scrum development); (7) manage the ServiceNow upgrades and patching; and (8) lead the teams in ensuring proactive daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly review of System(s) performance and availability occurs. This position will utilize knowledge and skills in operational service management, IT operations and processes, and end-to-end IT infrastructure components/architecture using monitoring and ITSM tools and technologies including HP Operations Manager, Sitescope, HP BSM, HP NNMi, uCMDB and ServiceNow. This position utilizes and requires the following certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator, HP BSM Platform and End User Monitoring 9.x (HP0-M45), and Load Runner (H0-019 virtual user generator software). This position will supervise four IT Contractors. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have five years of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) leading development/admin teams responsible for supporting and deploying Service Management products or services within an ITIL-based solution framework (i.e. ServiceNow, HP Service Manager); (2) experience in operational service management, IT operations and processes, and end-to-end IT infrastructure components/architecture using monitoring and ITSM tools and technologies including HP Operations Manager, Sitescope, HP BSM, HP NNMi, uCMDB and ServiceNow; and (3) Experience managing software development lifecycle platforms and tools, utilizing an Agile methodology (Scrum development). Must also have two years of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with the following: hands on technical experience performing administration/development specifically with ServiceNow in leading the delivery of global, 24/7 technical services in a large corporation.
