The HUB Controlling Industrial Lead is one member of the Hub team composed by around 8 members (one expert per each of the workstreams) led by the Hub Manager. The HUB Controlling Industrial Lead is responsible for the local/regional implementation in the markets (based on the SHIFT roadmap) of the SHIFT ERP Core Model framework, which is embedded in a single ERP for all businesses on all geographies.

This includes responsibility for the following areas of expertise:

o Standard Cost Management

o Industrial Controlling

o Operational Reporting

o Group Reporting

Sanofi is engaging in a review program for harmonization of its current processes: Finance and Controlling, SBS, Trade, Customer Service and Supply Chain. The SHIFT project is the IT implementation of these Business Core Models into a Global ERP considering also the corresponding interfaces with the Back-Office and satellite tools. This review and transformation program aims at:

  • Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with Analytics & common processes

  • Common analytics by GBU and for Global functions to drive their business, analyse their performance and optimize their resources

  • Standard Group wide best in class processes aimed at fostering a One Sanofi way of managing our business and functions

  • Embed new ways of analysing markets and business strategies & tactics

  • Implementation of benchmarked ways of working from Group affiliates, peers in the industry, and other industries (such as FMCG)

  • Support new approaches defined for Sanofi growth relays by ensuring that SHIFT enables a high degree of automation, control and analytics on these innovative approaches.

  • Facilitate the implementation of a One Sanofi Management for each of the Workstreams in scope through adapted and harmonized processes

  • Simplifying processes and Sanofi users' experience

  • State-of-the-art global systems ensuring an end-to-end process integration while providing a simplified user's experience

  • Major changes to reporting or processes handled centrally at once

  • One source of truth on master data and a common automated internal control framework

  • Improved integration or divestment capabilities through a standardized methodology.

The HUB Controlling Industrial Lead:

  • Follow Project Management for deployments established by Hub Manager

  • Be Expert in Project Methodology and deployment

  • Align to Core Model on each local implementation

  • Be Localization and functional Expert

  • Support local focused business teams (e.g. Data migration support, UAT organization, Change management)

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required with a concentration in business preferred

  • Master's degree preferred

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Functional and/or SAP Controlling is required. Experience in implementing large transformation programs via IT is required. A strong track record in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry preferably in Sanofi

  • Proven analytical and summarization skills required

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills, ability to defend the Core Model position are required

  • Project Management skills

  • Leadership and ability to challenge, open minded and active listening

  • Ability to drive change and ensure alignment at every stage from main stakeholders and impacted parties

  • Ability to understand and synthesize business needs from multiple sources, and escalate arbitration needs

  • Ability to collect data and report on blocking points

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Job Duties and Responsibilities Under the oversight of the Head, PMR (Project Management & Reporting), provide leadership support and strategic direction support to the Global Medical Lead to establish, implement and execute on strategic objectives, operational and project budget planning and reviews, as well as oversight of resource allocation to ensure appropriate prioritization of Medical projects across the portfolio. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Guiding Medical teams through change management issues, and ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into fully integrated and robust plan(s) which are aligned with the overall brand strategy and business objectives. * Co-leads the Medical Affairs Sub Team (MAST) with the Medical Lead (s) * Partnering with Medical Lead(s) in the development and implementation of Medical Plans, Annual Budget Plans and Long Range Plans to achieve operational excellence and compliance readiness. Coordinates project activities with key team members to allow optimal progress in decision making. * In close collaboration with the TA Medical Lead, establishing the strategy and timely execution of Real World Evidence (RWE) trials. Specifically responsible to lead a cross-functional team including internal and external experts, vendors and study partners (Payers), and routinely communicating trial activities to both internal and external key stakeholders. * Acting as a key contributor in the timely creation, implementation and update of product IMAPs (Integrated Medical Affairs Plan) and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring tactics are strategically aligned with budget, Medical Plan, etc. * Monitoring cross-functional work streams to ensure integration and prioritization of activities, and effectively articulating the Medical strategy and impact to business objectives while establishing trust with core and extended team members, Management, Global (and Regional Medical as appropriate), Alliance partners and other key stakeholders, as appropriate. * In partnership with the Medical Lead, actively contributing to the creation of presentations to senior management committees and others, as appropriate * Guiding Program Manager and/or Specialist in the development and maintenance of project timelines and associated budget to ensure robust stretch/realistic targets, project and action item completion, * Providing routine analyses of project plans to proactively identify potential risks or efficiencies, and ensuring activities are aligned and integrated across the portfolio and represent value added deliverables. * In coordination with the Program Manager and/or Specialist, overseeing the Medical program budget for assigned programs, rapidly identifying and managing variances, and addressing strategic resource re-allocation/budget challenges to ensure accurate forecasting and expense recognition, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies as necessary to ensure project quality. * Supporting the PMR team in initiatives and objectives, recommending and implementing process improvements and initiatives, and leading company initiatives with the primary objective of adding value to the business. * Performing other duties as assigned.
