Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Group is seeking qualified professionals to be considered for our Logistics Shift Coach role to support the Manufacturing teams at our new Dixie Products Plant located in Jackson, TN. The Jackson Plant will be part of the Dixie brand plates and bowls paper products manufacturing operation.

We are hiring for Shift Coaches in the Logistics department to join our Dixie team in Jackson, TN, and this is a great opportunity to work in a climate-controlled work environment with opportunities for advancement. What You Will Do

  • Interface with leadership and the Logistics Leader to help identify capability gaps and implement gap closure plans.

  • Embrace and manage change to drive innovation and process improvements.

  • Facilitate team and employee development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee ownership, while holding themselves and team members accountable.

  • Taking accountability of safety, quality and efficiency through leadership, individual ownership, teamwork and delegation.

  • Coaching, motivating, and mentoring the team to drive safe and efficient behaviors leading to positive outcomes.

  • Build individual training plans for technicians.

  • Use critical and economic thinking, challenge processes, and team collaboration to resolve issues and drive innovation, efficiency, and safety excellence.

  • Leverage strong oral and written communication skills to communicate with the facility team.

  • Use organization and planning skills to execute tasks in a timely, purposeful, and orderly fashion.

  • Motivate each employee to create the greatest value by executing meaningful Performance Evaluations annually with every team member assigned.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Work, Excel and Outlook.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience using SAP.

  • Experience using Kronos for timekeeping.

  • Experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving
