Summit Commercial Facilities Group is a growing full-service mechanical contractor specializing in commercial food equipment and facility mechanical equipment service, and construction / tenant improvement, recognized for superior technical expertise and customer service.

We are looking to add a versatile skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator, Weld, Equip Tech to our Staff. You will be responsible for all custom sheet-metal processes in support of HVAC duct installs, stainless steel commercial kitchen and lab equipment, architectural elements, signage, food truck up-fits and equipment installations in the field. This position will work under the direction of the Project Manager and will help maintain profitability for the Company. Position is Full Time. Consideration for Part time for the right candidate.

Required:

  • Knowledge of custom metal cutting, forming, welding and fastening processes

  • Experience operating shears, brakes, saws, grinders, and other metal processing equipment

  • Experience with welding processes: MIG, TIG, stick; Materials: Stainless steel, steel, aluminum.

  • Solid interpersonal & customer service qualities

  • Proficient in reading blue prints and specifications, measuring and laying out material for processing

  • Detailed, self-motivated, creative, and resourceful

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Positive attitude and a hunger to learn

  • Personal hand tools

  • Smart phone skills & ability to record details of work performed

Preferred:

  • Minimum of (3) years of experience in Commercial or Industrial industries

  • General carpentry experience

  • HVAC Sheetmetal fabrication experience

Work Environment:

  • Both inside climate-controlled work as well as outside conditions

  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolds, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, kneel

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time

  • Must utilize safety equipment at all times

Special Requirements

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays from time to time

  • Must be able to provide documentation of prior experience having background in working on Specific trade skill

  • Must possess a current driver's license, and clean driver record

  • Subject to a background check prior to employment

  • Subject to drug, alcohol and substance abuse screenings

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
