Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for operating the machine to ensure quality products and production goals are achieved.

What You'll Do:

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate the machine following instructions consistently.

• Safety: Perform all jobs in a safe and efficient manner, reporting unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

• Compliance: Follow all issued instructions and report problems that could result in lost production.

• Equipment Responsibility: Operate the machine safely and be responsible for all equipment and tools assigned to it. Notify the supervisor of any additional tools or equipment that can enhance efficiency and safety.

• Procedure Maintenance: Maintain the procedures regarding machine operation unless an approved change is recorded.

• New Procedures: Adjust to and follow new procedures and innovations to improve efficiency and safety.

• Clean Work Environment: Maintain cleanliness in the work environment, including the machine, floors, desks, and fans according to the 5S system.

• Machine Downtime: Effectively use machine downtime (excluding approved breaks) by performing tasks related to maintaining a clean work environment or as instructed by a supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Some related experience or training is preferred, but not required.

• Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical ability and skills.

• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to utilize software.

• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing fractions and decimals, solving equations, and understanding both standard and metric measuring systems.

Commitment and Availability:

Regular attendance and punctuality are fundamental requirements. You must also be available for overtime work when necessary.
