Purpose of Role: The SHE Specialist is responsible for both environmental, safety and health programs as well as assistance with manufacturing design of products, processes and methods for the St. Louis operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety Trainings: Provide regular safety training to employees in partnership with team leaders and managers on all shifts, ensuring organization-wide training needs are being assessed and knowledge gaps are being addressed.
Legal Obligations: Ensure compliance with regulations and fulfill legal obligations by submitting reports to government entities, both locally and nationally including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
. Safety Orientations: Conduct new employee safety orientations, and prepare and distribute all safety communications and participate in the local town hall.
. Perform Audits: Conduct facility audits to identify and address hazardous situations effectively, and prepare audit result reports, making sure to follow up on remediation required.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
. 5+ years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
