SharePoint Programmer, Senior

Key Role:

Support a variety of clients to address critical IT challenges for a workforce across the US and Pacific Rim. Develop solutions and perform administration, routine maintenance, and problem resolution for Microsoft SharePoint solutions. Maintain, modify, and develop Microsoft SharePoint solutions on a secure network. Work with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, system administrators, and other developers to troubleshoot application anomalies, implement modifications, and resolve user and application issues. This position is located in Keyport, WA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality, designing and developing user interfaces in Microsoft SharePoint, determining design methodologies, completing programing using Visual Studio, and designing and conducting testing in an enterprise environment

  • Experience in SharePoint development using at least 2 of the following: SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio.NET, C#, or Java

  • Knowledge of developing SharePoint components, including Web parts, pages and services, user controls, Windows services, and workflows using Visual Studio .NET

  • Ability to communicate project-related milestones, task progress, and remaining work required with assigned project managers and contribute to the team's effort in driving projects to completion

  • Ability to communicate with project stakeholders and help the project team to define requirements, use cases, and test plans

  • Active Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in a government environment a plus

  • Experience with protecting classified, unclassified, personnel sensitive, and business sensitive data

  • Experience with migrating Microsoft Windows or Web-based solutions to SharePoint

  • AA or AS degree preferred

  • Microsoft Certifications in SharePoint

Configure external storage, network connections and security applications to ensure servers are properly and efficiently integrated into the network.  This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment to achieve high performance of the various business applications supported by tuning the servers as necessary.<br />  <br /> <strong>Specific Duties:</strong>   Provide analytical and technical on-site support for the operations of Windows/Linux based servers and storage. Estimate two (2) unclassified environments and three (3) classified environments with the following estimated total server/storage count: <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Physical Servers: 60</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Virtual Servers: 200</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Storage Arrays: 15</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Maintain corporate server Operating System (OS) baselines meeting all current DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) requirements.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Maintain systems configuration; and manage the installation and integration of system patches, updates, and enhancements. These systems may include, but are not limited to: Internet Information Services; Servers using Microsoft Server Operating Systems; System Management; Software Update Services; Load-Balancing/Clustering Services; SharePoint Services; Server Certificate Services.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Provide resource utilization and capacity planning support which includes, but is not limited to: base-lining utilization of server resources (CPU, memory, storage space, backup capacity).</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Monitoring of the server resources to identify utilization/consumption trends, and projecting when resource utilization/consumption will be such that delivery of services by the servers falls below acceptable performance levels in accordance with Government instruction.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Perform server backups to provide for system restoration, file and database recovery, and disaster recovery.
