What our Architects Do

  • Design, plan and implement Office 365 solutions

  • Design and develop extensions and solutions for use in a variety of enterprise business solutions including:

  • portals and collaboration solutions

  • content management solutions

  • enterprise social computing solutions

  • business intelligence and dashboarding solutions

  • a variety of automated business process solutions

  • Become a partner, subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, advising on best-fit technologies and best practices

  • Able to speak to networking and infrastructure topics with clients to understand and recommend Office 365 solutions

  • Lead and deliver projects that encompass custom software modifications and solutions, systems architecture, proof-of-concept, and deployment services

  • Have a passion for learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies

What We Look For

  • Hands-on experience delivering SharePoint (on-premises and/or SharePoint Online) and Office 365 solutions

  • Hands-on experience with C#.NET, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and ASP.NET (Forms and/or MVC)

  • Understanding of the design, planning and implementation of Active Directory, ADFS, and Azure AD

  • Demonstrated experience configuring Office 365 workloads such as OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Business

  • Track record of success delivering small, medium and/or enterprise scale solutions;

  • Team/project leadership experience in a consulting environment, preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Purpose To lead the definition of standards and management processes in support of corporate centralized and distributed IT services. Provide alignment with business requirements, implementation, and ongoing availability of critical IT services for the business. Develop strategies for O365 SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization. Provide high-level technical support, installation, and maintenance on IT systems and selected applications to ensure stable system performance. Key Responsibilities * Responsible for the design, operation, and availability of core IT services and devices used by LP system users, applications, customers, and business partners. * Oversee O365 SharePoint services including user access and application deployments * Develop, configure and maintain SharePoint document libraries, site collections, and metadata in support of Enterprise Content Management initiatives * Train and assist users with SharePoint site creation and adoption * Determine root cause of system or application problems with medium to high levels of complexity. * Mentor staff on root cause analysis and other quality improvement techniques * Responsible for the management of operating systems including Windows and LINUX. * Responsible for management of operating system security and virus protection software. * Responsible for the architecture, implementation, and management of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD. * Development and management of automated system management processes * Create and maintain processes for consistent system replication and deployment * Deploy and manage new systems utilizing dedicated hardware, VMWare, or external service providers * Coordinate with application teams to lead the design of effective and efficient architectures or service implementations, supporting business requirements * Monitor system hardware for failures; coordinate replacements; plan and implement upgrades to meet business needs * Manage back-up, off-site storage and retention policies; automate and perform back-ups; restore files as needed. * Development and implementation of enterprise monitoring systems for availability and functionality monitoring * Administer O365 Exchange email, software development tools, or other enterprise applications as required. * Development and deployment of lab and development environments for application teams * Development, testing, and documentation of disaster recovery processes * Lead the development and monitoring processes for security procedures to safeguard the systems from unauthorized use, viruses, or data damage. * Plan, install, maintain, and approve operating systems, updates, and related software. * Monitor systems for stable performance; troubleshoot and resolve service or operating system problems. * Develop standards and administer system and user accounts. * Frequently required to be on-call on a 24x7 basis to respond to priority problems * Responsible for performing repairs and system upgrades outside of normal business hours. * Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. * Perform other duties as necessary. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Expert working knowledge of two or more of the following systems and how they interact with applications: O365, Azure, AWS, Windows, LINUX, Oracle and MS SQL databases). * Working knowledge of O365 PowerApps, Flow and Forms is a plus * Demonstrated ability to deploy, maintain, and drive user adoption of O365 SharePoint and other collaboration tools. * Strong working knowledge of system commands, utilities, and system administration tasks for the above operating systems * Broad working knowledge and understanding of operating system and application interface concepts * Experience evaluating, managing, and defining agreements with service providers * Excellent demonstrated working knowledge of system process management best practices * In-depth working knowledge of hardware/software systems, including various hardware types as well as virtual hardware systems such as VMWare. * Working knowledge of network concepts, protocols, applications, and tools. * Strong experience in managing MS active directory, O365, Azure, AWS, Azure AD or other enterprise services * High level of knowledge and experience with database and application interface support * Expert level of knowledge and experience supporting redundant systems and with disaster recovery plan development and testing * Good ability to understand and write programs or scripts in support of system management automation * Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills * Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate into practical technical and process-based solutions * Strong project management and team-based skills. * Strong customer-service skills. * Ability to support systems remotely using a variety of access methods. * Good working knowledge and preferred certification in ITIL methodologies * Ability to respond to help calls on a 24x7 basis.
